the whole purpose of my live sets used to be to make the audience feel the anxiety that i was feeling. but now i feel other things too, so i am kinda gonna be doing a bit of that as well (i think)
scenicsynths is a live sound hardware project. tekno/tribe/mental/hardgroove performed at illegal techno raves in nature, warehouses, abandoned places, etc
unlike dj'ing, i sequence, synthesize, and sample my sets from scratch and adjust parameters and effects live during the set. the music sounds different from premade tracks, akin to how jazz improv or drum circles differ from recorded music
most of my performances are unrecorded and discography largely kept private since this sort of music is best enjoyed live and with others
hardware used: octatrack / electribe ea-1 + er-1 + 2 / polyend play / sh101 / td3 / behringer edge
